Using Past and Present Experiences to Invent the Future of Telehealth

Dr. Debi Sampsel, D.N.P., M.S.N. RN, will describe how telehealth is defined by national organizations and will identify different telehealth devices. She has earned three degrees from UToledo, including a master of science in nursing from the Medical College of Ohio in 1985, and we are pleased to honor Dr. Sampsel as The University of Toledo College of Nursing 2020 Distinguished Alumna.  She is the director of Evidence-based Practice and High Reliable Organization at the Dayton VA Medical Center and director of Telehealth and Innovation Collaboratory Smart Apartment at the University of Cincinnati.
